What a blessing it would be if a benevolent nature would provide for any contingency, even that which we sinful people put ourselves in! If left handedness in a high degree were somehow beneficial, that nature would give us more left handed people! If homosexuality were able to help with the population processes, what a blessing that would be of that same benevolent nature to give us more homosexuals! We would want to thank God for his great mercies. And praise him for his creation. No need for war, nor for pestilence, nor for contraption, nor for rhythm.

We Christians have hope for a benevolent nature able to nourish us once we, like the disciples at Pentecost, finally come to love each other without reservation, and regardless of whether we are homosexual or straight, or whether we are left handed or right. All nature is groaning to be born anew. It is now waiting on us.
